Uralkali swings to 5.3 bln rbl RAS net loss in January–September

MOSCOW, Oct 29 (PRIME) -- Russian fertilizer producer Uralkali posted a 5.327 billion ruble net loss in January–September against a 30.59 billion ruble net profit in the same period of 2017, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a statement on Monday.

A company representative explained the net loss by exchange rate losses of 37.07 billion rubles.

Revenue rose 11.8% to 108.026 billion rubles and gross profit grew 12.3% to 79.931 billion rubles.
